Florida has largest entrepreneurial growth
While the economy is making a slow recovery, some of the rebound could be attributed to entrepreneurs. A recent study by the Kauffman Foundation, reports that Florida had the largest increase in entrepreneurial activity over the past decade. This is great news for those seeking employment because startup companies are important for economic growth as most new jobs are created by companies that are less than five years old.
Two entrepreneurs win grants to start their own businesses
When you hear the word entrepreneur you might think of a creative individual who is willing to take a risk or someone who has a groundbreaking idea. Well, for two students who graduated from the Southwest Florida MicroEnterprise Program, they can now view themselves as entrepreneurs for their creative business plans. Each student will receive $2,500 to start-up their businesses.
